Turnkey growth solutions for ambitious founders and teams in Saudi Arabia and MENA.

Origin is part of Al Fahd and Tahaluf Al’Ashiqqa, the family’s investment company. It draws on more than half a century of operations in the region and runs the whole engagement itself, so that outcomes, transparency and strategy are handled in one place.

The backstory

Six decades of building for government and enterprise.

Founded in Unaizah, Qassim, in 1968, Al Fahd operates in Saudi Arabia and more than five countries across the region. Origin builds on the relationships and licences that came from that work, and on opportunities inside the group as well as experience in the wider market.

  1. From 1968

    Roads, oil, hospitals, cities

The first projects were public works across the Kingdom, beginning with roads and bridges for the Ministry of Transport.

  2. From 1986

    Real estate

More than 200 projects for over 360 clients, including Riyadh Gate at 600,000 m².

  3. Then

    Industry and services

Manufacturing, hospitality, retail, commodities, mining and water, in the Kingdom and across MENA.

  4. Today

    Tahaluf Al’Ashiqqa

The family’s investment company in Riyadh. It launched Origin in 2026 to bring international companies into the group’s markets and networks.

Clients include

The Ministry of Transport, municipalities, Aramco, and the ministries of Defence, Interior, Education and Electricity.

About Origin

Origin grows international companies with MENA ambition.

Origin delivers growth focused on the bottom line. It provides diligence, operations and a full back office for accelerated delivery and traction, as one of the Kingdom’s first full-service, revenue-focused solutions.

Diligence

Before any engagement, we test the fit: the product, the market here, the group’s ability to help, and what the first twelve months would need.

Operations

Origin runs the day to day under one contract, with a named owner. The company’s own people stay free to sell.

Back office

Finance, HR, government relations and premises are handled by Origin and the group’s own teams, alongside the Tahaluf family office.

Who we look for

Companies ready to grow here.

  • Strong founders and management

A team that has already built something, and will be present in the Kingdom rather than delegating it.

  • Clear product and market fit

Product and revenue elsewhere, with Saudi Arabia as a scale market rather than a first market.

  • An appetite for bottom-line growth

Through profitability, or through a Series A to Series B round that the Kingdom’s revenue supports.

Where the group helps most

Sectors where Al Fahd’s own operations give a company its first customer, or host its first site.

  • Construction and infrastructure
  • Real estate
  • Hospitality
  • Industrial and manufacturing
  • Water
  • Technology and services selling into these

What we do

One contract for the whole of opening and running here.

Company formation, licensing, government relations, hiring and Saudisation, premises, banking, the finance and HR back office, and the family’s move. Each with an owner at Origin.

  • Company formation

Entity structure, registration and the commercial licence, done in the order the authorities expect.

  • Licensing

MISA, Ministry of Commerce, Qiwa and GOSI, plus the sector authority that sets the real timeline.

  • Government relations

The Chair’s and the group’s relationships across ministries, municipalities and enterprise clients. Origin arranges the meetings and sits in them.

  • Hiring and Saudisation

Workforce plan, the Nitaqat band, contracts on Qiwa, and the ratio maths done before the first offer.

  • Go to market

First customers, pricing for this market, and introductions inside the group where it can be the first buyer.

  • Premises and banking

Group premises where they fit, lease and Ejar, fit-out through the group’s own capability, and the bank account opened.

  • Finance and HR back office

Accounting, payroll, VAT, GOSI and WPS, monthly close and the weekly report.

  • Family relocation

Schools, housing, visas and iqama, and a separate briefing for the spouse. The part an executive and their family actually feel.

The group’s legal, government relations, finance, real estate and construction teams support Origin’s work, alongside the Tahaluf family office.

Where a licensed specialist is needed, Origin works with select partners with a track record and proven delivery, managed by Origin client services under the same contract.
